Hi Guys!!

Can Anyone tell me how a novice can be Oracle DBA certified in a few months with out subcribing to any academic institution?
Is it possible? Any advice on how to strat or what to do?
would appreciate you comments and suggestions

IMO, no.

Practice saying "May I Super Size that for you".
A novice with a "Certificate" would likely never get hired as a DBA, so what would be gained even if you got the piece of paper?
Search DICE.COM for current openings to see how many openings for a DBA with less than 5 years experience there are.

ok good point.....
Any ideas on any areas of IT thats worth my while.
I beieve specialization is important but i dont want to waste time in pursuing a dead end.
