dear friends,

My oracle version is 91

I have an some doubts in oracle 9i.
Am new guy in oracle please repliy my questions..

1) what is optimising?
2) is possible create sequence start with 0.
3) i want to create index in primary column ,which index is better(unique or non unique) which index unique or non unique is better?
4) what is collection ?

  1. Performance tuning.
  2. Yes.
  3. A primary key is unique by definition. A non unique index doesn't make sense.
  4. Read and learn.
