I'm working on Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 on Linux OS. I'm getting the following error:

SQL>  select * from flashback_transaction_query where table_name='SOLD.INTRARI';

select * from flashback_transaction_query where table_name='SOLD.INTRARI'

ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

SQL>

the user which issues the SQL statement has DBA role. I checked alert log file but i could'n see any relevant things. Could anyone give me some hints ?

Thanks

3113 is a generic error, you have to call support.

Agree with Michel. Improper oracle installation/upgradation have a chance to cause this error. Have done any upgradation recently?
