Hi Experts,

i have a more than 200 tables database on OLTP envoirement.
whenever my any table perform any DML, it could be stored in other history table.
For Eg. when i update any spacific table then the data should go to a history table
Columns of table
TABLE_NAME COL_NAME OLD_VALUE NEW_VALUE CHANGE_DATE
ITEM_MST ITEM_NAME 01 02 15-MAY-07
CAT_MST CAT_NAME GEN_GOODS GEN GOODS 15-MAY-07


how can i achive this thing

If you want to use a trigger surely this will mean having to place a trigger on every single table that you want to keep tabs on??

Why not simply turn on oracle auditing?
