I have to schedule a job to execute daily. In my init.ora file only job_queue_processes pararmeter is set.job_queue_interval parameter is not there in my init.ora.
did anyone know how to include an initialization parameter in init.ora?
I'm working as a client using oracle 10g express edition.i executed the following code(even though job_queue_interval is not there).
create or replace procedure "JOBING"
jobno integer;
dbms_jobs.submit(:jobno,'begin forselect;end;',SYSDATE,'SYSDATE+1');
following error ocurred
PLS-00049: bad bind variable 'JOBNO'

Is initialization parameter missing causes the error?or is there any other cause?plz reply

1/ job_queue_interval no more exists in 10g
2/ remove ":" in front of jobno. You don't use an external bind variable, you use the variable declared in your procedure.
