I have 2 instances A and B. A was created first and then B. Now, when I go to C:> sqlplus, it always goes to instance B. How to make it go to A by default?

Hi , for this u need to set the value of ORACLE_HOME in your o/s registry, try setting this in OraTAb file incase of UNIX, in case of Windows use REGEDIT->HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->SOFTWARE->ORACLE->HOME0 in that set the Corresponding value for ORACLE_SID parameter.
