We have a web based application running on Oracle 9i in RAC(Twin CPU/Two servers) mode.We have created a Profile with Concurrent_session one per user. But we see multiple sessions of the same user in GV$session view.We want to restrict the concurrent sessions per user to use ONE.Can anybody suggest a way how to reoslve this.

It seems your failover mode is PRECONNECT, that's why you are getting multiple sessions. Check your TAF configuration and change it to BASIC mode.
