Hi
I am using JBOSS Server-with ORACLE 10g(version-10.1.0.1.0)while deploying I am getting the following error
Bigger type length than Maximum .

I am using
jdbc:oracle:thin@host_name:1521:service_name & classes12.jar

What driver I should use ?

I am using JBOSS Server-with ORACLE 10g-xe(express edition),Thru prepare statement it works well,But thru callable statement it is not working .I am getting the following error
Bigger type length than Maximum .

I am using
jdbc:oracle:thin@host_name:1521:service_name & classes12.jar

what is the solution?

It is not mine I just copied it from net Sorry

The best thing to do is to upgrade to the latest Oracle JDBC thin driver.

This error message might also occur when a large database transaction is currently executing, but the thread timed-out.
If this is the case, see if your application server is set up to timeout inactive threads and make sure your network is reliable and not setup to close inactive TCP connections.

Hi
With the same driver(jdbc:oracle:thin@host_name:1521:service_name ) it works in Oracle 10.1.0 Enterprises Edition .But in Oracle10.2.0 Express Edition callables not working.why?
whether Oracle-XE will support callable statements or not ???
