Hi,
I have a informatica job which inturn calls a stored procedure.I have access to the UTL_FILE directory.But I am getting the following error.

PRE-SESS> TM_6159 Error executing stored procedure...
TM_6159 [4294965496] [
ORA-29282: invalid file ID
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_FILE", line 714
ORA-06512: at "TEST.PKG_TEST", line 782
ORA-29289: directory access denied
ORA-06512: at line 2

Can you please help me out in fixing this error?

I think

Grant access rights to oracle instance owner.

Hi Michel,

Thanks a lot for your immediate reply.
I have the access to the Oracle instance from where the procedure is being called and also I have access to the UTL_FILE directory.Any idea is there anything else I need to check?

Check for any typo in the path/file name? Check whether it exists.

YOU have access but does the INSTANCE OWNER has access?
You read/write through Oracle.

Yes the instance owner is having the access.
