Hi, I have just taken over a remote machine, and I would like to know what oracle products has been installed in the machine.

Beside getting the info from the "installed products" button from the "Oracle Universal Installer", is there any other way I can know what are the products being installed?

Thanx.

Thanx and Sorry, should have provide these info at the begining, I am using SunOS 5.10 with Oracle 10.2.0.

By the way, I check out the [ ${ORACLE_HOME}/install ] directory, I could not find any [ unix.rgs ] file, so I did a find from the Oracle Home directory onwards, but still could not find any file named [ unix.rgs ], I wonder could it be different for Oracle 10g?

Hi all,

Is there any way to know the inventory of an Oracle 10g Products installed for a remote server, however, using the Universal Installer is not an option for me.

Thanx in advance.

If you installed opatch (if not go to Metalink and download it) then go to $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch and execute "opatch lsinventory".
