I want to create a new file and write to the file from PL/SQL procedure. The procedure is alraedy in place and is working fine. I created a new directory in oracle using create directory command and granted read, write priviledge on the directory to public. The required directory has been created in the server as well.

However when I execute the peocedure it is giving 'Path Not Found' exception and no file is being created in the directory.
Can you suggest how can i get the procedure to execute successfully.

Can you post the relevant parts of the procedure?
