Hi all,

I've got the following code and find that the job is not starting. It seem to work in my development environment but not on the Integration environment.

declare p_job integer;
begin
DBMS_JOB.submit(p_job,'ccsuk.pck_batch.get_financials_data(sysdate);', trunc(sysdate,'HH24')+((floor(to_number(to_char(sysdate,'MI'))/5)+1)*5)/(24*60),null,false);
end;

Here is what is on the job queue

"Job"	"Log_user"	"Privilege_User"	"Schema_User"	"Last_Date"	"This_Date"	"Next_Date"	"Total_Time"	"Broken"	"Interval"	"Failures"	"What"
"8"	"CCSUK"	"CCSUK"	"CCSUK"	""	""	"23-04-2007 12:55:00"	"0"	"N"	"null"	""	"ccsuk.pck_batch.get_financials_data(sysdate);"

when i ran the sql to view the above the sysdate was as shown below

TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,'DD-MM-YYYYHH:MI:SS')
-------------------------------------
23-04-2007 01:07:01

1 rows selected

The value for job_queue_processes on both environment is as shown below

###########################################
# Job Queues
###########################################
job_queue_processes=2

I cant really see what could be the problem. I dont understand why it starts on one environment and not on the other. the two environment are basicly the same set up.. (well almost.. )

Any ideas or any pointers as to what i should look out for?

Thanks

Did you commit after submitting the job?

Michel
