What did the Oracle documentation teach you? If you don't know where to find it, have a look at the sticky (tips and tricks) topic.

view is provide extra security of original data.materilized view can be thought of as a table that holds result of querys in one or more tables in remote databaserefreshinterval is established to sheduled refreshes the replicated data.
in view join is used to collection tables.
materlized view we cant use any join
