in Oracle 8i how we can change the internal user password.

In addtion, don't use internal, use SYS.

Hi,
In addtion, don't use internal, use SYS.
And also don't use SYS user.

SYS user is very special user and it is for only database internal work. for rountine work you can use SYSTEM or create your new user.

I mean use SYS for maintenance as you used internal not for any other task.
Don't either use SYSTEM, create your DBA.
SYSTEM is for Oracle not for us.
