Hi All,

Can you able to help me how to find the Server Name of IP in AIX.

I tried with nslookup with IP. But it gives error.

What problem are you trying to solve?

How will you know when you have the correct answer?

Sorry. I want to find my server name through the AIX command.

Magesh,

You cna type uname -a for getting hostname and nslookup for that host give you the IP address.

maybe the command "hostname" will help you.
