I copied the tnsnames.ora and sqlnet.ora in database folder to D2k folder. But still it is not working!! what else can be done? Please help

Dose your tnsnames.ora have the correct entries in it and identify the correct port for the listener?
It sounds like the database is running and the listener is started.
I apologize but I do not know what d2k means. Is it an o/s? Is it an application software package?

Khushi,

Seems entries are not correct, kindly forward both tnsentry from server side and from client side. Confirm the TNS_ADMIN path.

Harshad

Hi Khushi,
I am also facing the same problem.

If the tnsnames.ora file located on both places i.e FORM_HOME and ORACLE_HOME then is it required to set TNS_ADMIN environmental variable?

Shahnaz.

Make an connection entry in the tnsnames of D2K installation.
