We have a web application which is being developed using plsql, plsql web toolkit (htp.p) & javascripts. User wants us to get the session out after 30 min. Could you please let us know if we can do this using plsql.

maybe profile.idle_time or profile.connect_time.

Presumably you are maintaining some sort of pseudo state in the database, (I'm assuming that this is a stateless application).
If so, just record the time when a user does something, make a check on the time since they last did something one of the first things that your app does - if the time difference is > 30 minutes, then tell them their session has timed out.
