hi all gurus!

as we knew it when executing SQL*Plus it runs automatically login.sql but when i am issuing disc on SQL prompt and re-connecting using conn with a different user its not running login.sql file. is there any way to automatically execute that file every time i connect after disconnect and no need to close SQL*Plut environment.

thanks alot in advance for help.

Before 10g, no.
You have to create a "connect.sql" script that do your connect and the call login.sql.
Then you use "@connect .../..." instead of "connect .../...".
