Hi

I have a problem with this error, i know where is a problem, but i don't know how to references directory in my case. I'm testing native compiling. Here is

SQL> show parameter native

NAME TYPE VALUE
------------------------------------ -----------
plsql_native_library_dir string c:\oracle\plsql
plsql_native_library_subdir_count integer 500

plsql_native_library_dir this parameter should references to one of these

SQL> select * from all_directories;

OWNER DIRECTORY_NAME DIRECTORY_PATH
-------------------- ------------------------------ ------------
SYS PLSQL_NATIVE_LIBRARY_DIR c:\oracle\plsql
SYS LOG_DIR c:\test\
SYS WORK_DIR C:\ADE\aime_1
SYS NATIVE_DIR c:\oracle\plsql
SYS DATA_PUMP_DIR C:\Oracle\rdbms\log\
SYS ADMIN_DIR C:\ADE\aime_10.2_nt_push\oracle/md/admin

How do i make reference from plsql_native_library_dir to directory name 'PLSQL_NATIVE_LIBRARY_DIR'

Thanks for help

Regards,Dany

You don't. Once set, Oracle will manage the PLSQL_NATIVE_LIBRARY_DIR directory all by itself. You don't need to reference it in any way.

To test if it's working:
1) alter session set plsql_code_type='NATIVE';
2) Compile a procedure, function or package; and
3) Check if you see the DLL's in c:\oracle\plsql

So, you've used a free open source compiler on Windows that expects Linux/Unix directory syntax? That is cool!
