We are planning to use Discoverer Plus in our organization for business users. The current plan is:

1) Development team would build 50 reports and releae them to business. Business would use them from a particular Responsibility in Oracle Apps

2) Any further ad hoc reports would be created by business themselves using Discoverer Plus (after appropriate training).

But users must not be able to save/change any of the reports created in step (1) in database. Also the ad hoc reports they create, they would not be able to save in the database. They would execute from the local folders.

Can anyone tell us how this can be achieved? Document related to these preference, etc settings would also be greatly appreciated.
