Hi,

I have imported a new user using IMP utility. Iam trying to compile the database but could succeed quickly. I tried the following..but couldnt make out.

Any other way to achieve a fully compiled DB.

1. exec dbms_utility.compile_schema('username');

2. Repeatedly altering the object to get compile;

SPOOL COM.SQL
SELECT 'ALTER '|| OBJECT_TYPE||' '|| OBJECT_NAME ||' COMPILE ; ' FROM USER_OBJECTS
WHERE STATUS = 'INVALID'
AND OBJECT_TYPE != 'PACKAGE BODY'
ORDER BY OBJECT_TYPE
/

SELECT 'ALTER PACKAGE '|| OBJECT_NAME ||' COMPILE BODY ; ' FROM USER_OBJECTS
WHERE STATUS = 'INVALID'
AND OBJECT_TYPE = 'PACKAGE BODY'
ORDER BY OBJECT_TYPE
/

spool off
@COM.sql

Do you think about searching in user_errors why they don't compile?
