hi all,
urgently need some advice please. i had a store procedure that create a record in tableA n table C and a store procedure to retrieve the record in both table with a join. There are multiple java client that access this 2 store procedure. We had tested that it is working well on non-RAC environment. However, when we deploy on RAC environment(db1 and db2 active ), we notice that if client1 create record using db1 connection, client using db2 connection will not be able to retrieve the record (if the difference is abt 10sec and is intermitten). Can anyone advise me is there anything special to note when we handle RAC database? We had already perform commit in the procedure..

this is my connection url.

jdbc:oracle:thin:@(DESCRIPTION=(LOAD_BALANCE=on)(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=db1)(PORT=1521))(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=db2)(PORT=1 521))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=app))) "

can advise? tks

Do you commit in the session where you insert your procedure?
