Hi all,
We have a customer (EBS version 11.5.10.2) requirement to have "Create Standard PO Automatically From an Approved Requisition"
Looking at the Note:308470.1 Create and Approve a Standard PO Automatically From an Approved Requisition from Oracle Metalink, certain customization needed to be done with Workflow Builder.
Does ver 11.5.10.2 happen to how any functions/capability to Automatically create standard PO from an approved PR?
Kindly advise.
Regards,
chijperng

BPA = Blanket Purchase Agreement, which is not a standard purchase order.
When you create and Approve a BPA, any document created off the back of it is known as a blanket release (eg PO 10000, release 1), which again is not a standard PO.
To create a Standard PO automatically, you will need to create a Contract Purchase Agreement as the Source Document, and every time an approved requisition is generated, a standard po will be created accordingly.
In the Attributes form (window) of the ASL entry, remember to set the Release Generation Method to "Automatic Release".
Contract PO's are good if you don't have the time to set up blanket agreements, but have the source information already defined in the ASL.
