Hello,
I have an Oracle 9 installation and I want to change the IP address. From what I have heard -there are many components/files within Oracle that depend on the hostname and IP addresss. Is there a script available or siome documentation that would point me on how to do this?

thanks!

This is true only in a poorly managed environment.
If everything is configured to only use HOSTNAME, then a single change to DNS is all that is required.
