I have a block with number of records displayed = 10. I display a checkbox on left of an item in a canvas. If I only have 8 records I want to hide the two excess checkbox. how should I do this?

Can't. Same as you can't hide the items that are also on those 2 lines.

Please elaborate. I am displaying these items on a stack canvas.
what do you mean, I have to create a canvas that is same size of a check box so that I can hide it? What do you by NULL in properties?

I *think* he meant to remove checkbox from the canvas COMPLETELY. Not only those 2 checkboxes (from your example), but all of them (by "showing" them on <null> canvas -> nowhere). I believe he didn't read the question carefully enough.
