Hello,

I m using Oracle 8i, I want to rename system generated constraints 'SYS_C000000' to user defined name.

but when i used the statement


Alter Table Temp RENAME SYS_C000000 to Test;


I got Message Partition or sub partition keyword missing....


Now any one can guide me the solution...

You cannot rename them, just drop and recreate.

Seems that is available in 9i.
