Hi friends

select * from emp where rownum > 5 is not fetching any record where
select * from emp where rownum < 5 fetching four records.
Can anybody explain why?

rownum is working between only

rownum=0,rownum>1 not working

only working rownum<=N

n means any number its rownum limitations.

What does any of this mean? It's just gibberish. Punctuation does not only belong at the end of the entire message. This looks like spew.
