The whole story..
I start PR (Purchase Requisition) which it's a very easy form. It's a master-detail block and there are item below;

(master block)
1. PR_ID
2. BRANCH_ID
3. PR_DATE
4. PR_EXPECTED_DATE

(detail block)
1. detail_sequence
2. material_id
3. material_quantity

The problem is when I try to run this form.. oracle form random says FRM-92101 but do not tell me how to correct the problem.
This problem are very random.. As far click the lov button (just only show lov) to click the save button in standard menubar (I have a pre-insert trigger to generate primary key and I makesure that my code is working without any problem. Test by sqlplus) I spent three hours try to modify my code.. check the blocks.. check all trigger and many other things. Restart windows xp.. Do anything that I can.. but even though I can't fix this problem yet. I feel desperate right now and then I post message here.. This problem rot my brain and make me stress a lot. Gr..

I'm also include the problem picture and formsweb.cfg. Please see the attachment below;

# $Id: formsweb.cfg 15-apr-2005.13:17:30 pkuhn Exp $
# formsweb.cfg defines parameter values used by the FormsServlet (frmservlet)
# This section defines the Default settings. Any of them may be overridden in the
# following Named Configuration sections. If they are not overridden, then the
# values here will be used.
# The default settings comprise two types of parameters: System parameters,
# which cannot be overridden in the URL, and User Parameters, which can.
# Parameters which are not marked as System parameters are User parameters.
# SYSTEM PARAMETERS
# -----------------
# These have fixed names and give information required by the Forms
# Servlet in order to function. They cannot be specified in the URL query
# string. But they can be overridden in a named configuration (see below).
# Some parameters specify file names: if the full path is not given,
# they are assumed to be in the same directory as this file. If a path
# is given, then it should be a physical path, not a URL.
# USER PARAMETERS
# ---------------
# These match variables (e.g. %form%) in the baseHTML file. Their values
# may be overridden by specifying them in the URL query string
# (e.g. "http://myhost.mydomain.com/forms/frmservlet?form=myform&width=700")
# or by overriding them in a specific, named configuration (see below)

Sorry about the error are in Thai language but I try to translate it to English

"FRM-92101 : Forms Server working failure during start up. The problem may cause from incorrect configuration. Please examine detail of problem from the log file of web server."

Please help me.. I do not have too much time to complete my project. I'm really want to graduate this semester. I try to solve this problem by myself as far as I could but finally.. I'm stuck with a deadend. Please...

Thanks in advance.

With some experimentation..
I do not get the root cause of the problem yet.

This problem is very strange!!

1. I start to create the new form from scratch and it's work perfectly. Well, this new form do not have lov button and some other "trigger" things yet.

2. I try to change the column name of one data block to ensure that oracle form will notify me "cannot be insert because the column is mismatch to the database"

Well, there is no alert of error like I expect.. but its end up like the one that I post above. very strange.

Please help me to point out what I miss. If anybody want me to run any test please feel free to post a request and I will try to do what I can. I'm really want to fix this problem.

Regards,
Smith_X

Problem Solved..

One of my senior student point me out that I need to re-compile the codes to solve this problem. Normally, I just compile the form which it's not enough and lead to severe problem that I faced with.

Compile Code is CTRL + K
Compile Form is CTRL + T

Well, how're stupid I am.. I had never been using "compile all code before'!!

So, there is no hardware faulty.. OS faulty nor Oracle faulty.
but this is just plain user faulty..

Hope that my experience will help the other user here.

Good Luck
