I have two computers at my training lab. Both have computer Oracle 9i install. Bith have service/tag cats.
1.)
Computer Name : 10227-mr-srv.abc.com
Oracle service name : cats
2.)
Computer Name : 10227-ocrsrv.abc.com
Oracle service name : cats
Now from 1st oracle server, I want to connect to 2nd oracle server.
May be using fixed user hr Password hr_1.
Can you please give exact CREATE PUBILC DATABASE LINK statement for same.
May have to use identifier as creating loop.

We can't give you an answer until we see your TNS entries. You are going to have to have GLOBAL_NAMES=FALSE in order to be able to do what you want as your database link will be called something other than the name of the database.

I am learning just for 1 1/2 months.
I am learning from Oracle authorised training patners.
But their tutor is unable to explain at all. He skip saying not imp topic.
I along with tutor tried many diffrent syntex , which found online but none work.
Right now I am not in my training center to give you exact word to word error messeges.
If any more info require let me know.
