Hello Everybody,
I have to delete characters from a column, suppose ihave to delete 'A','C' from '63487AC'. How can it will be possible through SQL ruery. Waiting for ur reply. Thanks.

and try this one if u r in 10 g

select regexp_replace(colname,'[[:alpha:]]') from tablename

in 9i u can use
select replace(translate(col1,'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ','###############
###########'),'#') from example1
