Hi,

We are changing the ip address of the oracle server.
What are all the things to be considered for that so that
oracle clients can connect to the new server's ipaddress

(from serverside and clientside)?

We put, inside the tnsnames.ora, instead of an ipadderss, a name that was dns'ed. If you put an ip in then you have to touch every client to correct the ip when it changes.
