Hi,
In our application whensoever we do mass mailing(not through Oracle but via
our application), our prodcution server goes down i.e. status of Oracle
service changes from "started" to null.
n SQlNET.Ora file we have set :
SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES= (NONE)
But no use.
Follwoing error is logged in logfile :
Fatal NI connect error 12638, connecting to:
(DESCRIPTION=(LOCAL=YES)(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=beq)))

VERSION INFORMATION:
TNS for 32-bit Windows: Version 10.1.0.2.0 - Production
Oracle Bequeath NT Protocol Adapter for 32-bit Windows: Version
10.1.0.2.0- Production
Time: 16-JAN-2007 17:34:32
Tracing not turned on.
Tns error struct:
ns main err code: 12638
TNS-12638: Credential retrieval failed
ns secondary err code: 0
nt main err code: 0
nt secondary err code: 0
nt OS err code: 0
When we stop n restart the service, it works fine.
Can anyone tell me the exact reason for such error and how to overcome it?
Thx a lot
Ruchi
