I am using Oracle 9I Data base and Oracle Reports 6I
My problem is that when the data is accessed using Oracle reports it is about 100 times slower than accesing through a
SQL navigator with the same SQL. THe SQL satement is properly tuned and runs very fast with the SQL navigator. But when it is run with the Oracle reports it is very mush slower with the same SQL statement. PLease advise

- Run a trace/tkprof on both to check if the same plan is used
- Run the statement in sqlplus instead of sql-Navigator. (does sql-navigator return ALL rows or rows per page?)
