Hi guys,

Well i have installed Oracle 9.2.0.1 on Win 2003 Server EE with SP1, i have the patch for 9.2.0.5. When i tried to upgrade from Oracle 9.2.0.1 to Oracle 9.2.0.5 using Opatch Utility Ver 1.0.0.0.56 i get the following Error "Opatch failed due to inventory problem". Can anyone give solution to the above error.

You might have a corrupted inventory

Hi,

I faced the same problem too. Try applying patch on safe mode.It should work.
