Hi,

I am having trouble in getting to tune a connect by clause query.
It is all working fine till level 3 but above that the query is taking a long time to execute.

Please suggest another alternative and also if at all any optimizers can be used to improve the performance.

Expecting a quick reply.

thanks,

Look at http://www.jlcomp.demon.co.uk/faq/tuning_explain.html.

It may be used for tuning any CONNECT BY statements as well.
