Hi to everyone,

i want to know how to open sql editor in the browser. i am using oracle version is Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production. can any one send me suggestions please.

I believe you are talking about iSQL*Plus. If so, URL looks like this: http://127.0.0.1:5561/isqlplus. 127.0.0.1 is "localhost" (you'd use real name or IP address), 5561 is port number. If you don't know / forgot it, check "C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\install\portlist.ini" (or similar) file. If you were the one who installed the database, this information was presented to you during installation process.

also check ISQLPLUS services is start.



START --------- RUN ---- SERVICES.MSC <<ENTER>>

OracleOraDb10g_home1iSQL*Plus ( OR SIMILAR)

Hii..,

HOw do we configure iSQL * plus in linux..?

My server is Redhat linux .

I want to access my database through iSQL*plus in windows clients..!!

You need to configure the tnsnames.ora on the Linux server and start the iSQL*Plus Application Server on the Linux server with:

$ORACLE_HOME/bin/isqlplusctl start


You also need to ensure that the listener is configured and started on the Linux server.

$ORACLE_HOME/install/portlist.ini should provide the port number for you. You can connect to iSQL*Plus using the information Littlefoot provided above.
