We have a value of 2007-03-11 0230 in a date field. The data represents a GMT/Zulu time.
When we try to extract it using the JAVA api's, it returns 2007-03-11 0330. We are assuming because 2007-03-11 0230 is not a valid time for our time zone.
Notes:
JVM timezone is EST
Oracle database offset is -5
We know we can change the JVM to run with a defalut timezone of GMT, but we are afraid it might cause other issues. We have searched/posted on a lot of the JAVA forums.

Thanks!!!
