Hi,
I've got oracle 10g xe installed in a remote computer(server) and i've installed oracle 10g xe client on my machine. when I open sqlprompt and connect to my database, it's giving "TNS Protocol Adapter Error".
Can u please rectify this for me.
N one more is "How to establish database connection from vb.net 2005 to oracle 10g xe"?

Hi,

Are you check Oracle Services is start. or database is OPEN mode.

"How to establish database connection from vb.net 2005 to oracle 10g xe"?

Install Oracle client make connectivity to Oracle Server through NETCA.
and then try to connect through VB. ( username / password @tnsentry)
