Hi,

I have a DB link by which i am trying to archive my data.

DB1 : column COST NUMBER
DB2 : column COST NUMBER

insert into db2.table_name@dblink
select * from db1.table_name

data is getting inserted but the cost column is being truncated

e.g.

DB1 column value : 15.2324353
DB2 column value : 15

Any thing wrong here...

changed the precision in table definition and used to_char to convert number to required precision and getting decimal values now
