my dbase is in archivelog, I take manual cold backup on sunday of all files
dbfiles,controlfiles,redologs ....on thursday db crashes i have backup i restored at same location where all db,control and redo logs resides

how can i apply archivelogs on same
Please suggest

Hi,

You can't apply archivelogs on cold backup.

You can't apply archivelogs on cold backup.
Your answer is correct when OP restore complete cold backup.

but actually OP question is not clear . he want to recover table after created cold bkp.
let say he took cold bkp on sunday and he want to recover his database till thursday. because he have all archivelog files.

if he lost any datafiles. he has to recover all datafiles from cold backup and apply archivelog.

he perform point in time recovery;
