hi experts

One thing teasing me alot .. please help me out of this problem .. when i run any query in sql plus it run perfectly eitther it has small no. of records or so many .. but when i use set line 10000 command and want to view records horizontally set to the screen .. after one or two attemps my SQL plus shuttdown abnormally without giving any error or any warning ..... its really very much teasing when u r consontrating on building query .. everytime i have to start my sql plus application agian an again .. it bother .. u know ..

By the way .. i m using ora 9i and sql plus ver 9.0 .... i also tried sql plus 8.0 too but the problem is same ..

Any suggustions will be appricaitble..

Could it be that you're running into bugs 1397704, 1329845 or 1754311? These are all related to dumping SQL*Plus and linesize. They are fixed in 9i release, see Metalink doc id 190077.1.
