Can any one explain wht is Automatic receipts process n setups involved in that.

Hi,

For automatic receipts first we have to setup the receipt class by checking the Automatic check box and if we want confirmation also then confirm.
Remaining fields all as per your wish.
While entering the transactions we have to flag them for Automatic receipts by giving the automatic payment method which we have defined in the above receipt class.
Then we have to run the Automatic receipts program which creates the automatic receipts
Remember that the Receipt amount will be in unapplied state until we go and confirm it, then only the accounting entries generated.
Note:- If we don't check the Inherit Transaction number at the Receipt class then system won't generate receipt since it didn't know from where it has to take the Receipt number(NO alternative has been given in apps, the automatic receipts program will give error)
