Hi, I am new to Oracle. I am trying to upgrade the test box from 8.1.7 to 9.2.0.6 version. I have installed the newer version and applied the patches to the newer version. I changed the all the dump destinations and set the environment variables for 9i.
Now when i do startup migrate pfile='../init.ora' gives me the following error:

ORA-25138: JOB_QUEUE_INTERVAL initialization parameter has been made obsolete
ORA-25138: DISTRIBUTED_TRANSACTIONS initialization parameter has been made obsolete
ORA-32006: MTS_DISPATCHERS initialization parameter has been deprecated
ORACLE instance started.

Total System Global Area 526353976 bytes
Fixed Size 730680 bytes
Variable Size 218103808 bytes
Database Buffers 307200000 bytes
Redo Buffers 319488 bytes
Database mounted.
ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced

When I comment out JOB_QUEUE_INTERVAL, DISTRIBUTED_TRANSACTIONS,MTS_DISPATCHERS parameters in the init file, I get just the ORA-01092 error.

Please somebody help me.I really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance.

It appears you did not read the fine manual about how to do the upgrade & follow its step by step instructions.
What does the alert_SID.log file have to say about your situation?

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [qctstc2o1], [3], [1], [1], [1], [4000], [0], []

you are getting ora-00600 error.
for better solution call oracle support or if you have Metalink access then see note about ora-00600 error.

i was search on net and found.
http://searchoracle.techtarget.com/ateQuestionNResponse/0,289625,sid41_cid624686_tax296095,00.html

check above link it is based on oracle 7 to oracle 9 but you can also set o7_dictionary_accessibility=TRUE parameter and try your operation.

Simply put, it appears your are trying to open the V8.1.7 instance while using the V9.2 executables; which are expecting V9.2 objects such as sys.props$ and complaining loudly when they are not found.

Read the first response you got in this thread.
Long story short, you need to go through a proper upgrade path using proper tools and techniques.
