Hello Experts,

I would like a create a trigger in Oracle8i which fire itself everyday in the morning at 7:00am to insert some selected data into a specified table. This has to be in routine until I disable the trigger.

Please help me in achieving this.

What you need is a scheduled job, not a trigger. Look up dbms_job.submit in the online documentation.
