in enter query mode i am using list of value to select.
once the value is selected from LOV, execute query should happen..what is the trigger for this...or how this can be done.

And the point of your reply IS?? Put a When-Listed-Changed trigger on the item, set its property so that it fires in 'enter query' mode, and put an 'execute_query' in it. See what happens.
