Hi

Can some one provide me the information about 'ADMIN_LOG_DIR' which is present in the DBA_DIRECTORIES schema of Oracle 10g. My question here is whether it is provided by default in the database or has it been created by some other application/user using this db.

Thanks in advance,
Prabhakar

Well it must have been a user which have done something like
this
CREATE OR REPLACE DIRECTORY admin_log_dir
AS 'dirpath';

Then you can use it for logging when creating external tables.
