Hi,
This is a generalized query and not concerning any particular course. I am a post gtaduate in mathematics. I have a fair knowledge of SQL and have been constantly updating my knowledge.Please give me details of career oriented certifications that i can take up in oracle. Given my profile could you please elaborate my prospects with oracle certifications such as OCA,OCP,OCM etc. Please Help

This is shivendra upadhyay well i got to know that you are intersted in some Oracle certification . well it my pleasure to let you know about this . basically there is two certification paths in oracle
(a) Oracle DBA
(b) Oracle Developer
(a) Oracle DBA
in Oracle DBA there is total 4 papers
(1) introduction to Oracle SQL
(2) Oracle DBA fundamental -1
After clearing these two papers you will be a Oracle Certified Professional.
(3) Oracle DBA fundamental -2
(4) Performance tuning
After clearing all four papers yo will be OCP .
(b) Oracle Developer
in oracle Developers there is 3 papers
(1) introduction to Oracle SQL
(2) Oracle programs with PL/SQL
After clearing these two papers you will be a Oracle Certified Professional.
(3) forms and reports
Afetr clearing all 3 papers yo will be OCP .
again now its on your intrested which path you choose because both is having equal opportunities.
