hi,

first check your listener services is start or not.

on command prompt.
cmd>set oracle_sid=<sid>
cmd>lsnrctl status

if stop then start first.
cmd>lsnrctl start

if start then set TNS_ADMIN variable
cmd>set TNS_ADMIN=drive:/oraclehome/network/admin
after that
go windows registry and set correct path for TNSLSNR.EXE.
TNSLSNR.EXE=oraclehome/bin

As per Documentation.

Oracle Error :: TNS-01150
The address of the specified listener name is incorrect

Cause
The address on which the listener attempted to listen contains a syntax error.

Action
For the listener name or service name specified to LSNRCTL, check that the address or connect descriptor is well-formed. You can find the listener name in LISTENER.ORA, or you can access the listener through the service name is TNSNAMES.ORA.

also post ur listener.ora file.

Taj

1. This is a standalone system..so i installed everything server,client everying in this system.

2. i didn't have any error during installation.

3 .i copied this Listener.ora from another system ..Then i made some alteration and stored in my system(oracle\ora92\admin\network..)

4.Then i can execute all my commands in isqlplus,but couldnot able to open sqlplus.

5.if i executed this lsnrctl services in cmd.. i am getting following errors..

Surely you don't try to connect from Word, do you?
Then why attach a word document to show us what went wrong?

Hi,
Your getting "No Listener" error

First check your listener is start or not.
1. cmd>lsnrctl start <<enter>>
Set TNS_ADMIN variable
2. cmd>set TNS_ADMIN=ORACLEHOME/NETWORK/ADMIN
Check TNSLSNR.EXE registry is correctly set.
3. cmd>regedit <<enter>>
like >drive:\oraclehome\bin\tnslsnr.exe

Check all above mention point and try

Taj
