hi,

you can connect with tns_entry "usrid/pwd@tns_entry".

if yes then check ur sqlnet.ora file
sqlnet.authentication.services= ? ( none or nts)

hi,

are you getting

invalid username or password / insufficient priviliges.

invalid username or password then add ur OS "log on as a batch job"

start >>> settings >>> control panel >>> administrative tools >>>

local security policy >>> user right assignment >>> "log on as a batch job"

then try to connect.
regards
Taj

hi,

Through orauser2 you connect "NORMAL" or "SYSDBA".

check on ur server. sqlnet.ora file.
sqlnet.authentication.services = [NONE,NTS]
or
User member of ORA_DBA group.

then you can connect "SYSDBA".

Taj
