Hi All

In the forms(10 g) I using run dos procedure to execute the dos command
its working fine,

but cmd.exe is keep running in the server due to this after some days run dos procedure will not execute

how should i quit the cmd.exe

hlp me to proceed further

My code is like

Run_Dos('Del G:\t.txt');

This type of line which is directly given in the forms.

As JRowbottom said in http://www.orafaq.com/forum/m/206129/67467/#msg_206129 "What would this RUN_DOS thing be then?"

Is this an Oracle procedure or a site written piece of code?

Hi

For the older one i follow the pl/sql which is for execute ftp commands, this is used to execute dos command in oracle 10g.

This is java procedure in oracle 10g.

If there is any other way to execute the dos commands in 10g
